 Interplas is the UK’s largest plastics exhibition and continues to attract industry leading companies, catering to the needs of a wide variety of sectors including automotive, construction, packaging and medical devices.
Visitors who pre-register for Interplas 2008 have the opportunity to win one of three daily prizes during the exhibition – a weekend for two in Paris, a supercar driving experience or a 42” HD ready plasma television. Interplas provides plastics industry professionals with the opportunity to view, evaluate and source machinery and products from all sectors of plastics manufacturing, and there will be many new developments on show at the exhibition.
Materials testing equipment experts Tinius Olsen will be announcing the addition of 12 new developments to their extensive range of testing equipment, while new products on display from Motan include the METROLUX 80, one of the new ranges of ‘smart solutions’ drying systems with integrated conveying, and the new MINICOLOR G gravimetric dosing unit. An important development for Interplas 2008 has been the incorporation of the Inspex feature, which focuses on the quality control and measurement industries. In addition, the show is to run alongside the closely related processing and packaging machinery exhibition, the PPMA Show. According to the British Plastics Federation around 36% of polymers produced in the UK are consumed by the packaging industry, so there will be plenty of synergy between these two events. Furthermore, the combination of exhibitors and crossover of visitors will make these linked exhibitions the largest manufacturing trade experience in the UK in the autumn of 2008.
