HOME DECOR Textiles, Table & Kitchen, Light, Interior Design, Fair
of Furniture and Furnishing and BIURO Fair of Office Furniture and
Furnishing were officially closed. A total of 680 exhibitors from 21
countries ( Belarus, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, the
Netherlands, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Malaysia, Germany, Norway,
Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary,
the UK and Italy) presented their offer on a total exhibition area of
28 thousand square metres. As many as nearly 20 thousand visitors
attended the four-day event. Thanks to our visitor registration system
we know that this year’s exhibition was visited by many more industry
professionals than during the previous events.
Exhibition stands are more and more beautifully designed each year.
Stands exhibited at this year’s edition of the Trade Fairs were truly
meticulously prepared. Some of them consisted of several separate
sections which featured different collections, representing various
styles in interior design, offered by the manufacturers. In this way,
visitors were able to see interesting proposals for fashionably and
functionally furnished apartments and offices. This year’s event was
distinguished by its focus on advanced design and high quality. In
response to growing affluence of the society, increasing consumer
awareness and marked growth of demand on the domestic market,
manufacturers showcased a wide array of products that would satisfy
even the most demanding customers. All exhibited products were marked
by extreme attention to detail, both in terms of design and quality of
materials.
Manufacturers showed furniture and accessories suitable for furnishing
both spacious and small rooms. Among interior decorations displayed
during the HOME DECOR fair, particular mention should be made of the
extremely wide offer of household textiles offered by Polish, Spanish,
Turkish and German companies. Exhibitors also presented a number of new
products, with a total of 27 premieres officially launched and
presented at the shows. We know that the exhibitions in fact featured
many more debut products, however due to instances of copying new
design and the protracted process of pursuing copyright claims in
Poland not all exhibitors chose to officially promote their products as
premieres. Despite that, at the majority of stands visitors could see
the latest collections designed in line with the most recent trends.
Also, a new approach to arranging trade fair participation could be
noticed. Some companies, such as Nowy Styl or Taurus hired entire
pavilions, others – for example Mebelplast – roomy mezzanines, to show
their offer. – says Józef Szyszka, Director of the MEBLE, BIURO and
HOME DÉCOR Trade Fairs. This is precisely the approach to showcasing
products that is expected by European furniture traders visiting our
fair who tend to compare the exhibition area with that at Milan or
Cologne furniture fairs.
