AACMA has expanded the focus of its Annual Symposia into a regional academic event to encompass the Asia-Pacific region. Fostering academic and professional networks within Australia as well as with our regional neighbours is an important factor in the long-term development and on-going sustainability of Traditional Chinese Medicine as an independent profession.
Academic conferences are important vehicles not only to promote academic exchange and to encourage debate and dialogue within the profession but also for the formation and development of friendships and networks between individual practitioners, academics and researchers. In 2009, the venue is the Conference Centre at Melbourne & Olympic Park, Batman Avenue, Melbourne, next to the Rod Laver Arena and a short walk from the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
