From November 19 to 21, 2008, the Piacenza fairgrounds will host EXPOlaser, the only trade show specifically dedicated to industrial applications of laser technology, organized by PubliTec and PiacenzaExpo. The exhibition encompasses all laser-based industrial processes and applications. As a matter of fact, laser is a “universal tool” with potential applications in all industries. EXPOlaser aims at increasing the visibility of laser technology in the industry, which in Italy alone includes over 40,000 companies with a potential interest in laser applications. EXPOlaser addresses all the users of laser systems in the industry, who will have an opportunity to “lay hands” on the power and potential of different laser processes, finding adequate response to any need; Therefore, EXPOlaser is a unique business opportunity for the manufacturers and distributors of systems, solutions, sources and equipment for laser applications in the industry. The exhibition is complemented by a rich and qualified program of conferences, making EXPOlaser a place of education, information and updating for all industry professionals. For Publitec, the publisher of "Applicazioni Laser" the only industry-specific magazine in Italy, the decision to collaborate with the Piacenza fair is based on PiacenzaExpo’s expertise in the organization of niche industry events such as Geofluid and SIBA, and on its new and advanced facilities with an ideal geographical location, allowing to reach the fairgrounds in less than one hour from Milan, Turin, Bologna, Genoa and Verona, and all major industrial centers in Northern and Central Italy . EXPOlaser is posed to become the reference event for the laser industry in Italy.
