The ITF SLOVAKIATOUR fair is the most important tourist trade event in Slovakia and one of the most prestigious events of its kind in Europe. Traditionally in January Bratislava became a venue of a an extraordinary event for the entire tourism industry, as well as for tourism service industries - hotel, gastronomy and food industries, with specialised DANUBIUS GASTRO, EXPOSHOP and GASTROPACK exhibitions taking place at the same time. All these exhibitions took place in parallel with the dominant ITF SLOVAKIATOUR, sharing a common idea – tourism, visiting and getting known attractive places on our planet, contact with the nature and living an active life. ITF SLOVAKIATOUR is a unique event in , during which at the beginning of each year meet tourism industry professionals, the key players in the area of tourism from and abroad. The fair, organised by Incheba, took place under the auspices of the Slovak Ministry of Economy, in close cooperation with professional partners – Slovak Tourism Board, Slovak Association of Travel Agencies, Union of Hotels and Restaurants of the Slovak Republic and Association of Slovak Towns and Municipalities.
