In 1997, when Kielce Trade Fairs organized the first edition of this fair, 83 exhibitors used only 800m² of exhibition space. In a few years, this exhibition has become one of the major plastics processing fair events in the market. Last year's edition of PLASTPOL hosted 720 exhibitors from 25 countries. Today, PLASTPOL is one of the largest exhibitions in the calendar of Kielce Trade Fairs as well as a leading trade fair in Poland. Every year, in terms of both the number of exhibitors and the size of rented exhibition space, this fair beats further records. It also increasingly attracts attention of foreign companies. With half of its exhibitors representing foreign companies, this trade fair boasts the largest international attendance of all the fair events organized by the Kielce trade fair centre. PLASTPOL provides a venue for meetings held by the most important players in this sector, presenting new products: plastics processing machines and equipment, moulds and tools for plastics processing, various types of plastics, components, recycling technologies and IT systems applied in the plastics industry. Technological solutions and final products are also presented by companies specializing in plastics packaging systems. The International Fair of Plastics Processing PLASTPOL is one of the three Kielce Trade Fairs' exhibitions enjoying membership of the elite Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI, which brings together the world's best exhibitions. Membership of the UFI guarantees international standards, high organizational quality and significance for the plastics processing sector.
