Over 120
exhibitors and represented companies from Poland, China, the Czech Republic,
France, Israel, the Netherlands, South Korea, Switzerland and USA presented the
latest solutions for the power industry and electrical engineering at the first
edition of the International Power Industry Exhibition EXPOPOWER, held in
Poznañ. All participants agreed that the show was very successful.
The exhibitors confirmed their intention
of exhibiting their products at EXPOPOWER 2008. Many representatives of
companies that did not decide to participate in the show as exhibitors
also expressed their interest in the participation in the upcoming edition of
the trade fair.
EXPOPOWER,
the new initiative of the Poznañ International Fair, is a result of talks and
close cooperation of PIF with partners from the power sector. The EXPOPOWER
Programming Board included representatives of the most important companies and institutions
from this industry. EXPOPOWER was held under the auspices of: the Polish
Chamber of Power Industry and Environment Protection, the Polish Power
Transmission and Distribution Association, the Association of Polish Electrical
Engineers and the Polish Chamber of Railway Devices and Services. EXPOPOWER was
also held under the honorary auspices of the Minister of Economy.
