The International Foundry Fair FOND-EX is intended in particular for
all professionals and producers of technologies, equipment, machines,
materials and providers of services. FOND-EX is a branch-related fair
number one in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries incl. new
EU members. It has been regularly attended not only by the leaders on
the Czech market, but also by exhibitors and visitors from lots of
countries. Professional guarantor of the fair is the Central-European
Foundry Initiative MEGI, C.A.E.F. – Association of European Foundry
Unions. The fair is staged in cooperation with the Union of Foundries
of the Czech Republic, Slovak Union of Foundries and Forges, Czech
Foundry Society, Association of Precision Casting.
It is held jointly with the International Welding Engineering Fair
WELDING, International Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites PLASTEX
and the International Fair of Surface Technology FINTECH. The past
FOND-EX run was attended by altogether 183 firms from 15 countries and
more than 23 000 visitors from 45 countries.
An integral part of the FOND-EX Fair is also an enormous specialist
accompanying program. The fair is staged in the magnificent environment
of the Brno Exhibition Centre which offers exhibitors and visitors an
infrastructure of a world standard
