The International Fair for Fire Fighting Equipment PYROS is targeted in particular for all professionals and businessmen operating in fire fighting and the Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic. The show offers the latest technology, outfit and equipment and also information on legislation in the branch (thanks to its specialist accompanying program) and an experience exchange from many sectors of this enormous branch. PYROS is a fair number one in the Czech Republic and its neighbouring countries. It has been regularly attended not only by domestic firms, institutions and individuals, but also exhibitors and visitors from many countries. It is staged jointly with the International Fair of Security Technology and Services ISET, with which is has much in common. At the same date also the International Fair of Personal Protective Equipment, Health and Safety at Work INTERPROTEC takes place.
The past run of the PYROS Fair was attended by altogether 282 firms from 11 countries and more than 26 000 visitors from 49 countries.
An integral part of PYROS is also an enormous specialist accompanying program, in particular the prestigious 10th European Meeting of Firemen PYROMEETING. The fair is held in the magnificent environment of the Brno Exhibition Centre which offers exhibitors and visitors an infrastructure of a world standard.
Altogether 2 926* foreign visitors from 49 countries were registered for this year’s fairs. Most foreign professionals came from Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Italy, Austria, Belarus, Slovenia, Hungary and Russia. Also some distant and exotic countries such as Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Japan, Jordan, Canada, Qatar, Columbia, Mexico, Venezuela or Vietnam were represented.
