The Spring Tourism Exchange. The event attracted almost 40 participants who presented holiday offers for the upcoming summer. The exhibitors included travel agencies that tempt visitors with fantastic trips to almost any corner of the world. Hotel and guesthouse owners were numerous at the show. Wielkopolska municipalities praised their tourist attractions. It is also worth mentioning “work & travel” agencies that prepared special offers of summer trips for students. The following exhibitors participated in the 4th Spring Tourism Exchange for the first time: the Archaeological Museum in Poznań, Arkady Fiedler Museum in Puszczykowo and the Sanctuary in Gietrzwałd.
There were also numerous events for the audience. The shows of natural wax candle making, knitting and wooden toy making, prepared by the Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa, attracted many spectators. A camper, i.e. the latest vehicle for family travel presented by Toyota - samochody campingowe, was also a great attraction at the fair.
The exposition of the Exchange and the simultaneously held Education Fair and the Fair of Books for Children and Young People was visited by almost 45,000 people. As compared with the previous year, the number of visitors increased by over ten percent. Moreover, the largest increase in the number of visitors (by 45%) was recorded on Saturday, when the fair was visited by families with children. Thus, the change in the dates of the show turned out to be an excellent move. The next edition of the event will also be held simultaneously with the Education Fair and the Fair of Books for Children and Young People.
