SURFEX is the only specialist trade show focusing on surface treatment technologies in Poland. 106 exhibitors and represented companies (an increase by 11 percent) from the 10 countries participated in this year’s edition of the exhibition.
This year’s edition of SURFEX was 20 percent larger than the previous one. The exposition area exceeded 2,000 square metres. The show featured 106 companies from 10 countries: Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Turkey.
The scope of SURFEX encompassed:
- surface cleaning and preparation
- thermal and thermo-chemical surface treatment
- application of electrolytic coatings
- varnishing and enamelling
- application of plastic coatings
- measuring, control and testing equipment
BOOT CAMP, an interactive exposition organised in cooperation with “Lakiernictwo Przemysłowe” Editorial Board was a great attraction of SURFEX. A special demonstration area in Pavilion 6B was the venue for daily presentations of innovative solutions and technologies for preparation of surfaces before varnishing and painting combined with lectures and competitions.
The presentation area included devices of various manufacturers:
- devices for applying power coatings and liquid varnishes
- devices for preparing surfaces before painting
- coating gauges
- devices for polymerisation and hardening of coatings on materials
- systems for transport with fixings
- powder coatings and liquid varnishes
- other surface treatment devices
