International exhibition of entertainment industry. Svet Zabavy (Word
of Entertainment) is an international exhibition of entertainment
industry held annually in the prestigious Industrial Palace in Prague
Exhibition Ground.
The year 2007 will be the 15th edition of the exhibition.
The standards and quality of exhibits keep in line with on-going
progress and development within entertainment trade, both in Czech
Republic and through Europe. Today, many respected experts consider
Svet zabavy as a professionally presented, high quality exhibition, one
which has become an extensive display of entertainment technology in
Central and Eastern Europe, and equals the biggest European exhibitions
in this trade.
Numerous trade magazines, published in Czech Republic as well as
internationally ? such as Trh zabavy, Jackpot, Coin-Op News, InterGame,
Euroslot, Facto Edizioni, Game Time International, Mondo Automatico,
Amusement Industry Catalogue, also take stands each year.
2006 year there were 110 exhibitors, 65% of whom were Czech companies,
from the total space of 6 500 sq. m., the exhibition stands consisted
of 4 500 sq.m.
Svet Zabavy 2007 will be hold again in the Right and Middle Halls
of Industrial Palace and there will be kept the general lay out as the
previous year: The Right Hall will be the showcase of the latest AWPs,
electronic roulettes, on-line betting, money handling machines,
components for machines and spares. The Middle Hall will be the place
for amusement machines, bowling systems, billiards, football tables,
equipment for entertainment centers and other products important for
entertainment industry.
The varied accompanying program taking place during the course of
exhibition, includes meetings of representatives from Ministry of
Finance, State Testing Institute and Entertainment Industry
Associations. Among the favorite of events are the electronic darts and
billiard tournaments.
The main focus of the exhibition organizers is to ensure that each
visitor to "World of Entertainment", whether entrepreneur or customer,
finds all equipment and accessories that they might need for arcades,
amusement centers and parks, as well as for their development of relax
and leisure places, etc.
