Fitness, Wellness & Sport on Stage
RIMINIWELLNESS, the first show dedicated to Fitness, Wellness and
Sport, organized by Rimini Fiera SpA from 17th to 20th May 2007, is the
trade event that was missing, able to address specialist trade members
and end users with a new, leading edge professional insight.
RIMINIWELLNESS confirms the evolution under way in a sector that is
firmly rooted in an increasing need for harmony and wellness, for
interest for sports practice and for the dynamics of 'well-being'. This
means a search for physical and mental balance that overcome outdated
barriers of physical culture, thus targeting all age groups. In fact,
the show’s target consists in all those who take care of their body and
their health; it’s sufficient to consider that gyms clients and sports
buffs alone form a 'tribe' of around four to five million people, aged
between 20 and 45, which further extends to include the over-fifties.
This is why the show’s format is not exclusively focused on fitness,
sports wear and equipment, but also body and beauty care, nutrition,
fashion, culture, tourism and design, all connected with the concept of
wellness.
The formula is innovative. RIMINIWELLNESS is divided into three main
areas: WPRO, reserved for business expo themes; WFUN, with events and
shows and FORUM, where access is limited to trade members.
The WFUN area is dedicated to fans of extreme enjoyment. The public and
trade members will be able to follow and take part in shows,
performances and events organized by exhibiting firms. Here there will
also be Always Fun, the name given to continuous events, and Market
Area, the zone reserved for buying.
In the WPRO the sector’s key players have admittance to the show before
it opens to the public, with obvious advantages in terms of calm and
time to dedicate to visiting. For the entire duration of the show,
there will also be reserved entrances and fast-lane access, as well as
meeting rooms, breakfast hour and a business lounge.
The FORUM addresses trade members and will cover various issues,
including – Marketing Management, Communication, Sport, Health,
Prevention, Metabolic fitness, Technical training for
trainers/instructors, Conventions by the sector’s key Associations and
Federations.
