An annual book fair for public and professionals - The Helsinki Book Fair is Finland’s most important forum for lovers of literature, authors and book industry professionals. The fair has become a notable cultural event, a platform where major issues and phenomena of our time are discussed within the context of literature. The theme for the fair is Books for life – life for books. The theme emphasises that a book is a rewarding life companion, but one which also needs a reader in order to come to life.
