TRANSEXPO is the largest fair event dedicated to public transport in Poland, in addition to being Poland’s only exhibition featuring such a wide range of products and services related to this sector. The range of products exhibited at this fair will encompass vehicles for urban, suburban and intercity transport; tourist vehicles, special and commercial vehicles, spare parts and accessories for coaches, urban buses and related infrastructure, fare collection systems, IT systems, as well as components for electric traction, rail infrastructure, networks and traction subsystems. The trade fair will be accompanied by a number of press conferences and company presentations. TRANSEXPO has already become the largest fair event dedicated to local public transport in Poland and is increasingly attracting attention of those operating in the European exhibition market. Last year's edition was attended by 153 exhibitors from 11 countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Italy, Poland, and Spain. The exhibition took up a space of 9300 m² and was accompanied by company press conferences and specialist seminars. What attracted special attention was a technical seminar on "Urban Card - New Quality in Local Public Transport", organized by the Economic Chamber of Urban Transport in Warsaw in co-operation with Kielce Trade Fairs. The purpose of this seminar was to make the participants acquainted with available systems of collecting fairs by means of an urban card, with standardization methods, as well as with methods of integrating various types of urban cards.
