The range of products and services exhibited at this fair will
encompass ophthalmology equipment, optical equipment, corrective frames
and sunglasses, glass and contact lenses, contact lens care systems and
cleaning solutions, equipment for optometry specialists and oculists,
medicine and pharmaceutics for the diagnosis and surgery of the eye,
optical devices, as well as trade periodicals.
The fair not only constitutes a place for promoting state-of-the-art
technologies, but it also provides an opportunity to present the
current situation and trends as well as future development prospects
for the optics and ophthalmology sectors. The OPTEXPO fair will be
accompanied by conferences, specialist training sessions, and
presentations made by the largest companies in the market.
The previous edition of this fair was attended by 47 exhibitors from
China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania, and
Poland. During the period of two days, the OPTEXPO fair was visited by
about 1,500 people. The exhibition was accompanied by a conference on
"The Dynamic Aspects of the Process of Vision", organized by the Polish
Association of Optometry and Optics. The conference attracted
considerable attention of both the exhibitors and visitors.
