International Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and Religious Art
Kielce Trade Fairs invites you to participate in the 9th International
Exhibition of Church Construction, Church Fittings and Furnishings and
Religious Art SACROEXPO, which will be held on 16-18 June, 2008.
SACROEXPO features products and services offered by architects,
interior designers and construction companies, which will show the
latest solutions within the construction of sacral buildings,
furnishings, decorations and conservation systems. Visitors have an
opportunity to become acquainted with state-of-the-art technologies
used for designing and cultivating SACROEXPO green area situated around
church buildings as well as for the renovation and adaptation of
churches in special spatial conditions. The range of exhibited products
and services encompasses interesting interior designs, including
lighting and amplifying systems; devotional articles and ecclesiastical
objects, liturgical vestments and vessels, IT and archiving systems,
stained glass, and sculptures. There will also be religious literature
and multimedia used for educational purposes and for spreading the
Gospel. The Exhibition also features services offered by pilgrimage
agencies. In addition to that, the exhibition of church furnishings and
sacral art is accompanied by workshops and scientific conferences.
SACROEXPO During last year's edition of this trade fair, pavilions of
Kielce Trade Fairs accommodated three exhibitions. One of them was
"Mother of the Lord" in the photography of Takuya Tsukahara from Japan.
This exhibition was part of the collection of Fathers Paulites from the
monastery in Jasna Góra. There was also an exhibition prepared by
Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. It was last year that we
started a series of presentations of holy orders. The programme also
included an exhibition of works of art prepared by graduates and
students of the School of Fine Arts in Kielce. SACROEXPO was
accompanied by a large number of other events such as an evening
meeting with a poet, Ernest Bryll, held in a setting prepared by Prof.
Stanisław Słonina; concert given by a Gregorian choir, Schola
Gregoriana Silesiensis from Wrocław; as well as a meeting with Wenanty
Nosul, the actor who played the part of Father Stanisław Dziwisz in the
film 'John Paul II'. Plac Artystów (Artists Square) in Kielce was a
venue for an open air exhibition "The History of Being SACROEXPO
Present", which was held to celebrate the 625th anniversary of the
picture of the Holy Virgin in Jasna Góra. During the SACROEXPO fair the
final stage of the art competition "Your Angel" was held, in which
primary school students took part, while the Kielce Culture Centre
hosted the final of the 6th Diocesan Festival of Religious Song.
The most interesting products shown at the Exhibition will be honoured
with medals of the Pontifical Council for Culture and the Primate of
Poland, with a special award of the Ordinary of the Kielce Diocese as
well as with medals of Kielce Trade Fairs
