It will be
the 13th time that Kielce Trade Fairs has organized the International Fair of
Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH. The
exhibition is accompanied by the Timber Industry & Forest Resources
Management Fair LAS-EXPO.
Last year,
the AGROTECH and LAS-EXPO fairs were attended by 360 exhibitors, among which
there were 32 exhibitors representing 11 countries, i.e. Austria, Czech
Republic, Denmark,
Finland, France, Germany,
Great Britain, Holland, Italy,
Slovakia, and Poland.
Exhibitors put on show more than 500
machines and pieces of equipment. The fair was visited by 26,500 people.
AGROTECH is
a major European exhibition devoted to agricultural technologies. For a few
years in succession, the Fair has been beating attendance records. The range of
products exhibited at AGROTECH encompasses modern farming equipment, such as
all makes of tractors available on the Polish market as well as all types of
agricultural equipment presented by Polish manufacturers and representatives of
foreign concerns. In comparison with what foreign exhibitors have on offer,
Polish products do make a good impression, in addition to being very
competitive. What is also put on show is
horticultural equipment, means of agricultural production and farming
accessories. The fair attracts considerable attention of farmers from all over
the country, professionals dealing with agricultural technologies as well as
students of agricultural universities and secondary schools. The special character of this trade fair is
helpful in putting its message across to farmers. It is for this group of
visitors that special Consultation Desks are organized, at which information is
provided during the fair as to development programmes, loans, and opportunities
for project subsidies.
The
LAS-EXPO fair, held simultaneously with AGROTECH, is an event promoting modern
solutions within logging and timber processing as well as constituting an
opportunity for companies specializing in the timer industry and forest
resources management to present their products and services. What the
exhibitors will show during this trade fair is, among other things, equipment
and tools for logging, transport and processing of timber, and forest
pesticides.
The same as
in previous years, the fair is accompanies by conferences and specialist
seminars. The best products shown at the fair will be awarded with medals and
distinctions of Kielce Trade Fairs.
