There will be four simultaneous technical trade fairs in Helsinki Fair
Centre for the first time in September 2007. Hydraulics &
Pneumatics, Automaatio, Elkom (Professional electronics) and and
MecaTec (the Mechanical engineering and machine components fair).
Together, these events amount to the most important happening in the
Finnish technology sector.
Arranging these trade fairs concurrently brings synergy benefits to
both exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitors are guaranteed the possibility
of reaching a greater number of potential new customers, while visitors
can find a broader range of products and services to boost the
productivity of their firm’s production – and all under one roof.
Elkom is the leading event in professional electronics in the Baltic
region. It is now being organised for the seventeenth time. Elkom is
review of industrial electronics, telecommunications, IT components and
equipment, production tools and contract manufacturing.
Elkom is arranged by The Finnish Fair Corporation in co-operation with
The Association of Suppliers of Electronic instruments and Components
ELKOMIT and the Finnish Society of Electronics Engineers EIS.
At Elkom 2005 there were 312 exhibiting companies, 54 of them coming
from outside Finland. Over 10 200 professionals visited the Fair among
them visitors from Sweden, Russia and Estonia.
