lmost 18,000 professionals visited the Fair of Components for Furniture
Production FURNICA 2007 held on 24 – 27 April . 215 companies from 20
countries of the world presented their offers on the exhibition area of
6,059 m 2*.
Professionals at the show
The registration system made it possible to identify groups of
professional visitors with the majority of decision-makers: 54% of all
visitors. The remaining 46% included technology experts and other
employees. FURNICA 2007 was visited by furniture designers and
producers, representatives of woodworking companies interested in
expanding their activities, including owners of small, medium-sized and
large manufacturing plants. Craftsmen were also numerous.
Furniture Factory Live
Professional visitors were attracted to Poznań by more than the rich
offer of new products in various categories. The interesting programme
of accompanying events and special areas were a great attraction. The
live Furniture Factory turned out to be a true hit this year.
A unique exposition of two full technological lines for production of a
desk and a shelf on the area of 2,800 m 2 in Pavilion 6A made it
possible for visitors to see furniture production elements as applied
in practice. Finished furniture in interesting colour versions were
presented in special zones. Not only the design, but also individual
machines used in the show were in focus.
Company representatives present in the Pavilion shared their know-how
related to technology, design and functionalities of their products .

The organisational form of the show facilitates the promotion of trends
and ideas applied in interesting solutions to be used in furniture
production. New types of hardware, interesting designs of furniture
panels, edgings, handles – all these elements serve as a source of
inspiration to people involved in furniture production.
Thanks to FURNICA, you can implement your projects based on the latest solutions and designs.
The show attracted a large number of designers. They and other visitors
drew inspiration from The Charm of Details – Kitchen exhibition.
Zuzanna Skalska, an internationally renowned trend watcher from a Dutch
agency VanBerloStudio’s, held special daily talks on the issues of
international design. An exclusive guide to trends received by all
visitors of The Charm of Details – Kitchen was a source of inspiration
to professionals.
