Kielce Trade Fairs will organize the Fair of Ecology, Municipal
Waste Services, Recyclable Materials, Waste Management and Recycling
EKOTECH.
After six years, the idea of organizing another edition of the Fair of
Ecology, Public Services, Recyclable Materials, Waste Management and
Recycling in Kielce Trade Fairs has been revived. This year, EKOTECH
will be organized for the eighth time. Our activity and all the actions
we have taken in this regard constitute a response to the growing
demand and attention attracted by these issues in the new economic
situation of our country.
The previous editions of the EKOTECH fair were accompanied by a seminar
on "Financial Aid Procedures within the Pre-accession Funds - SAPARD,
ISPA, and PHARE”, attended by representatives of municipal offices and
local governments, Director of the Department of Ecological
Policy and European Integration of the Ministry of the Environment,
Director of the Regional Advisory Centre for Agriculture and Rural
Development, Deputy Director of the Department of Voivodship
Infrastructure and Environmental Protection (Marshal's Office of
the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship) as well as a seminar entitled "Waste
Management in the Strategy of Sustainable Development – Proposed
Legislation Changes), attended by Vice Chairman of the Parliamentary
Committee for Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry,
and organized by the Team for Waste Management, operating as part of
the Parliamentary Committee for Environmental Protection, Natural
Resources and Forestry. During the fair, there was also a
Swedish-Polish-German-French Roundtable "For the Cleanness of Europe,
of the Country, and of the Region - Aspects of International
Co-operation”. Winners of the competition “The Most Ecologically
Advanced District of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship” were also
announced. The awards were given by Deputy Minister of the Environment
and by Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Environmental
Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry.
The history of the previous meetings – attended by representatives of
ecological organizations and institutions – highlights the considerable
attention attracted by the thematic scope of the EKOTECH fair. The
environmental protection has become an increasingly important issue,
especially since Poland's accession to the European Union, as we have
to meet EU requirements within waste management.
Among the exhibitors of the 8th EKOTECH fair will be leading companies
providing services and solutions for the environmental protection and
waste management sectors. The range of exhibited products and services
will encompass systems of sewage, water, and air treatment as well as
recycling. The exhibition will attract producers, importers, designers
and researchers operating in this industry. The purpose of this fair is
to present technological solutions and designs for the environmental
protection. The products and services will be offered to local
governments all over the country and to industrial plants using
technologies harmful for the environment. As the organizers, we will
emphasize problems occurring currently in this sector and we will
invite companies which use technologies with substances posing a threat
to the environment. At the exhibition, there will also be companies
presenting recycling of used electric and electronic equipment and
municipal waste neutralization
