The objective of the Science for the Economy exhibition is the promotion of research results among industry representatives participating in ITM Poland. The offer of the exhibition is addressed mainly to entrepreneurs who search for innovative solutions and ways to modernise their production and increase its efficiency. As in the previous years, the organisation of the exhibition was supported financially by the Minister of Science and Higher Education. 100 exhibitors participated in the Science for the Economy exhibition. They included 42 Polish R&D units, universities of technology from Koszalin, Łódź, Poznań, Szczecin, Śląsk, Warsaw and Wrocław, the Military University of Technology and universities from Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań and Zielona Góra. Technology transfer centres, representatives of technological platforms and other institutions involved in technology transfer from science to the economy were also present. The Polish Federation of Engineering Associations NOT, the European Patent Office and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland had their stands at the show. The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development organised a joint exposition of winners of the 9th edition of the Polish Product of the Future Competition.
