For a few years, this trade fair has been attended by practically all
companies whose activity is to a larger or smaller degree related to
the construction of roads and motorways. Since Poland's accession to
the European Union, this trade fair has also been becoming a business
platform, facilitating co-operation of western firms with companies
from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. The high development dynamics of the
Autostrada–Polska fair can be testified by statistical data – the 1st
edition of this trade fair, which was held in 1995, was attended by
about 250 exhibitors renting 2,700 m2 of exhibition space, while the
exhibition was visited by more than 5,000 people. The 10th anniversary
of this fair event attracted over 500 firms representing a dozen
countries. Last year's edition was attended by 630 exhibitors from 21
countries: Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France,
Germany, Great Britain, Greek, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Netherlands,
Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, and Poland.
The exhibition took up net 19,000 m2 of exhibition space.
The AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA fair provides an opportunity for the largest
companies specializing in road construction, traffic engineering and
road safety to present their offers. The range of products shown at
this exhibition will encompass heavy machines and construction
equipment, materials for road construction, marking equipment and
paints, as well as elements of infrastructure related to the
utilization of roads and motorways. The AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA fair is
accompanied by a large number of scientific conferences, seminars and
company presentations. A permanent attraction of this fair is displays
of heavy road construction machines in operation, which are performed
in a special outdoor presentation area. Kielce Trade Fairs is the only
exhibition centre in Poland being in possession of an area specially
designed for such presentations. This show provides visitors with an
unforgettable experience.
The high quality of the Autostrada-Polska fair and the significant role
it plays in the Polish and international markets was confirmed by this
fair event having been honoured with a European Medal for Services.
This medal constitutes a kind of references issued by the Office of the
Committee for European Integration and the Business Centre Club.
For 3 years, AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA has been held simultaneously with the
International Fair of Infrastructure Traffic-Expo. The thematic scope
of TRAFFIC-EXPO encompasses elements of infrastructure related to road,
rail, air and water transport systems; maintenance of the existing
transport network, traffic management, safety systems, technologies and
auxiliary infrastructure. At the same time, the 9th International
Construction Machines and Special Machines Fair MASZBUD is held. In
addition, it will be the first time that the Kielce trade fair centre
has organized the Airport Technology And Infrastructure Fair.
