In association with the Journal of Family Health Care, Profile produces a series of 18 Regional Child Health Conferences and Exhibitions each year. The events are now in their 30th year and are recognised as the most successful events for community health professionals staged throughout the UK. Each event attracts around 20 exhibitors and 150 community health professionals and offers exhibitors’ the opportunity to meet, network, conduct research and communicate with their key target audience. A presentation by a leading healthcare expert addressing key issues for today’s child health professional will be given at every event. Presentations are carefully selected based on feedback from past delegates and research undertaken with the Journal of Family Healthcare. Pasttopics have included infant massage, autism, child obesity, and postnatal depression. Each event follows a similar format, delegates will be given a glass of wine on arrival at 6pm whilst they visit the exhibition stands, before sitting down to the evenings lecture. A buffet supper is served after the lecture for all delegates. Attendance is free of charge. Who should attend? * Community Nursery Nurses * Health Visitors * Midwives * Nurse Managers * Practice Managers * School Nurses * Senior Nurses Exhibitors include breast pump manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, bottles and teats, baby foods, nappies, nutrition products, dermatological products, health promotion, hygiene, vitamins, vaccines and charitable organisations.
