Ecobuild is the UK’s only event dedicated to sustainable design and construction. It attracts hundreds of suppliers of green building products and services and brings together professionals from all parts of the construction sector. The Ecobuild conference – now in its fourth year – is aimed at everyone involved in the creation and delivery of policy and regulations, and any aspect of architecture and design, engineering, planning, surveying, development and construction. Delegates also include clients - who are interested in the impact of sustainability on their new build or refurbishment plans, their procurement policies and their ability to manage their buildings or housing stock more efficiently. For 2007, the conference is titled Making Sustainable Construction Happen, and its focus is on bringing about change. There is a new format too – as the conference comprises six half-day sessions, each addressing a key theme. Delegates can choose which sessions are of most interest and use their time effectively.
