This one day event, comprising a full and comprehensive seminar
programme and a large exhibition, will provide a valuable opportunity
for learning disability professionals, service users, family carers and
those interested in joining the profession to come together to debate
the big issues, share best practice and network. Learning Disability
Today London is the leading, established annual event for the learning
disability community, offering:
- The Training and Development Zone, offering delegates one-to-one
advice and information on career development and education and training
opportunities.
- The Arts and Performance Zone, featuring an array of dazzling and
inspired visual and other artwork by service users and music and dance
performances throughout the day.
- The Technology Zone, offering an interactive area displaying the latest technical innovations and developments.
- The Career Surgery, with one-to-one sessions to advise you about
qualifications in the sector. As well as providing an introduction to
the qualifications, you’ll also get the opportunity to raise any
queries you may have about them. Advice on potential routes for career
progression will also be on offer.
