The Ambience fair is the ultimate creative outing for everyone with an avid interest in residential design.

• Interior: a glimpse of style
• Maybe you like playful design, tautly minimal design with a hint of personal nostalgia, or clever, conceptual residential design – or perhaps you prefer authentic antiques combined with elegant remembrances of national or historical interiors and accessories, or maybe you want to create a mixture of everything in your own personal residential world.
• Garden: outdoor living
• Outdoor design and furnishing is a hot topic at Sfeer. We want our outdoor living area to be just as attractive as our indoor living area, and we want to sit outdoors – and even if it is raining, too cold or too warm, we still want to be able to lounge, entertain friends, cook and shower outdoors. And not only during the day.
• Pool: take a refreshing plunge
• 'Home tourism' keeps on growing. Temperatures in Belgium are heading toward the climates of our southern neighbours, which means you can use your swimming pool or pond for a longer period during the year. That makes it an attractive alternative to a sun holiday.
• Outside Image
• Giving young, creative horticultural talent a boost: that's the objective of the Outside Image competition, which celebrates its fourth anniversary this year. Garden and landscape architects at the beginning of their careers are eligible to register. They are given the task of designing a 'vertical garden', with the emphasis on using vegetation in vertical and hanging arrangements.
• Help
• Sfeer is more than just a product show. The Help! project gives you an opportunity to obtain assistance from interior and garden architects. They are available for consultation in a relaxed setting around a fascinating catering station in Hall 4.
• Sfeer is pure class
• The theme: memories of the past. Authentic antiques combined with elegant remembrances of national and historical interiors and accessories.
• The bathroom of the future
• Wellness and bathroom furnishings for people 50 and above: it has to be convenient and future-oriented, but at the same time inventive and contemporary. Sfeer is organising an project devoted to this topical theme and inviting two creative spirits to present their visions on the subject.
• Outside's In 2008
• Sfeer launches the 'Outside's In' professional event. Outside's In is a lifestyle event devoted to exterior furnishing and decorating. Outside's In is aimed at professionals (garden architects, architects, interior architects, etc.).
• Aplacetohide
• A competition for young interior architects. The winners design a 'luxury hotel room' in the middle of a natural setting: a space that is both cosy and very sophisticated – a place that unites eco and techno.
