ImPORTant infrastructure At the 2007 annual meeting place for the African ports and harbours market, delegates gained insight into the innovations that are taking their sector to improved service levels. The practical case studies and interactive panel discussions attracted over 100 participants to the congress. Delegates openly debated with speaker on the uncensored content and learnt about future projects that are potential investments. 2006 and 2007 saw the introduction, launch and growth of the African Ports & Harbours Congress and Ports Pavilion, bringing the maritime and rail industry together under one roof. Once again, in 2008, this event will be hosted alongside Africa Rail – allowing for companies and corporations involved in both sectors to showcase themselves to decision-makers from both industries.
