Name: Internet in the Ukrainian exhibition business

21 century is named a century of “information society” and the global network’ "inhabitancy" is considered to be the Internet. "Web" became the factor which influences the basic spheres of a human society’ life - culture, formation, science, leisure, business...

According to statistics, the Ukrainian Internet-audience within 2006 has grown almost twice. As for January, 2007 the quantity of unique users of the Network has made up 4 million 207 thousand person. In January, 2006 this figure made up 2,63 million person, “Liga” informs.

According to "Sputnikmedia.net", with each month the number of Kiev Internet users continues to grow. In January, 2007 it has made up 58,56 %. Having outstripped Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa is in the list of regions with the biggest percentage parity of the Network users. In decreasing order behind them are Donetsk, Kharkov, Lvov, Crimea, Zaporozhye.

Figures speak that the Ukrainian society actively joins to the world Internet-culture. Around of numerous Internet-projects the whole communities are formed in which people find adherents, get necessary contacts, and scoop helpful information.

The Internet influence on sphere of exhibition activity, in which expobusiness subjects require duly and authentic data is great. Today practically all participants of exhibition market are using the Internet which opens significant prospects for development of exhibition business in Ukraine.

What occurs in World Wide Web space of the Ukrainian exhibition business?

Sets of sites exist in the Ukrainian Internet network. The information saturation and a site type directly depend on a company structure and it’s pursues.

It is possible to allocate such groups among them:
1. Exhibition centers’ web-sites.
2. Organizers’ web-sites with the exhibition list.
3. Separate exhibitions and fairs web-sites.
5. Sites of companies specializing on exhibition process service.
6. Global information exhibition business portals.

Sites creation conducts to increase in inflow of new visitors and participants of exhibitions. It is necessary to note, that global Internet-resources concentrate the information on exhibitions and fairs, both in one or in the several countries.
